A group of our students are helping to raise money for the Australian bushfires by taking part in a sponsored walk.

Summer Eathorne, one of our students, felt inspired to help the koala bears affected by the Australian fires after seeing all the coverage in the news.

Wildfires have been raging through Australia since September in the worst bushfire season in the country’s history.

Summer wanted to help and arranged a charity walk from Barrow to Ulverston with seven of her closest friends.

We are really proud of their 'can-do' attitude and how they have independently jumped into action to make a difference for something in which they passionately believe. It really does epitomise the Chetwyne way.

A huge well-done girls!
