What better way to celebrate our student's achievements than cake on a Friday break time? Cakey Breaky is the brain-child of Mr Jefferson and it has been running for a while now. This week, we simply asked teachers, 'Who deserves a pat on the back?' We were not short of nominations!

We have designed some new invites so that teachers could write a personal message to let students know why they had been nominated; I imagine there will be few stuck up fridges round Barrow tonight! I heard a lovely comment from one member of staff saying how one student had to come to find her to say thank you - what goes around, comes around - lovely!

So, some choccy doughnuts, a bit of music and good company led to an enjoyable Friday celebration in the library.
