Dear Parents and Carers,

We have invested in an online reading platform called 'MyOn'. It is a sister product to Accelerated Reader that we already use in school monitor reading ages. As you will know, reading is a passion for us at Chetwynde as we know the undoubted benefits that regular reading gives to children both for well-being and academic success. We appreciate that it may be difficult for you to access reading materials during lockdown - especially if you have a bookworm in your house! To this end, we are excited to launch 'MyOn' for the whole school community, primary and senior.

Over this week, children will be sent their log-in and password, and then they will be up and running! On a simple level, it acts as a virtual library; however, it does have more tricks up its sleeve, and over time we will begin to role these out too.
