Reminders for Start of Next Half-Term

1 November 2020 (by admin)

1st November 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope you have all had a restful half-term and we are looking forward to seeing everyone back in school tomorrow.

We just wanted to confirm that we start back on week B2 - the fourth week of the timetable and that we continue to follow this until further notice.

Week 1 - A1 - 3 Double periods 1, 3 & 6 from normal timetable
Week 2 - B1 - 3 Double periods 1, 3 & 6 from normal timetable
Week 3 - A2 - 3 Double periods 2, 4 & 7 from normal timetable
Week 4 - B2 - 3 Double periods 2, 4 & 7 from normal timetable

Staggered starts and finishes will also continue next half term. Senior pupils MUST bring a mask to school each day.

Can I also remind you to make sure that stationery is replenished ready for the next half term as we are still unable to be handing out and taking back in these resources. As you may remember, we issued every senior pupil with a mini-whiteboard, and these have been a significant teaching tool over the last weeks; please can you make sure your child has a whiteboard pen in their pencil case along with glue and scissors and the other usual stationery items. Pupils should also have their own water bottle each day. We appreciate your support with this.

As the weather becomes colder, we would recommend that students are warmly dressed and bring an appropriate coat, hat, gloves and scarf to school.

A quick reminder about school communications, please check that you are logged in to School Jotter app. If you are logged in the white padlock in the upper right corner will display as open. If it is closed, you are not logged in and will be missing some communications. You can email the school for log-in details if you do not have them.

As ever, thank you for your support during these challenging times and please do not hesitate to be in touch if you have any questions.
