Following the latest guidance from the Local Authority, in order to mitigate against a growing number of cases or suspected cases of Covid 19 in the Barrow area, Head Teachers in the area have been advised to stop any additional visitors coming into buildings for 14 days from today. This includes, for example but not exclusively: advisory teachers, peripatetic music teachers, and other County Council and NHS officers.
This measure is not taken lightly, but in order to ensure a swift response to an equally swiftly changing situation, this measure is necessary and proportionate. The Outbreak Control Team’s position on this will be reviewed regularly in light of the latest available data.
Speech & Drama will therefore not take place for at least the next 14 days. Monies already paid will be carried over for lessons after half term.
